Do not support an "assault weapon" or high capacity magazine ban. To do so is a violation of Constitutional Rights.

Sir, we understand that, not only the latest, but all acts of murder and violence are despicable. We pray daily for the families that lost loved ones. We believe however that a rash decision like banning "assault weapons" and high capacity magazines is ignorant and Unconstitutional. The 2nd amendment says: "A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed." A militia it says. If you were to ban the arms that a "militia" would use to ensure the security of a free state, then you would be infringing on our Constitution. As you have stated in the past, no set of laws will stop a criminal. We are not asking you NOT to act. We are simply asking that you act in a Constitutional manner.
