Do not trample on the 2nd Amendment, allow all citizens the right to carry and own a Firearm.

The Second Amendment to the United States Constitution is the part of the United States Bill of Rights that protects the right of the people to keep and bear arms. It was adopted on December 15, 1791, along with the rest of the Bill of Rights. A responsible owner of a firearm would only use it to protect him/her and there family. Obama the President of the United States and his family are well guarded by many men/women with weapons. Why can't we have weapons to help protect our families. Guns do not kill people, people kill people. So I ask only this, let the citizens of the United States of America be allowed to have weapons, but before purchasing weapons all gun shops have to run background checks on the buyer before he purchases it.
