Do not use military force in Syria.

Created by J.Q. on August 28, 2013

There are alternatives to military force in Syria. The people of the United States do not want to involve themselves in another military conflict.

For instance, why not evacuate civilians? Provide them with food, water, medicine, and shelter. Allow the other factions to destroy each other. The use of chemical weapons is horrific, but the correct response is to remove innocent people from the danger, not to create more danger. It’s true that a “red line” has been crossed, but the correct response is to save lives, not end more of them. This would be costly, but the United States would not have to bear the cost alone - many other countries could be enlisted to help.

Please sign this petition if you believe it’s not the United State’s role to police the world.
