do something about the high price of gasoline

we are refining so much fuel that we are exporting gasoline at a record rate buy yet we continue to pay high prices at the pump which is putting a burden on american families and the economy.....why are we paying such high prices when the reason it went up in the first place was a "supply and demand issue".....Not everyone can go out and by a new car net alone continue to pay these outragious prices just to line the pockets of greedy people
