If people think gun ban laws are going to make a difference... I’m sorry. Simply put, look how effective our drug laws are not! These drugs laws have been in practice for decades and are not very effective. There are 300M+ LEGAL guns on the street and 10's if not 100's of million illegal guns out there.
There are, however, several things that can be done to change how easy it is to obtain a gun legally. Required gun safety classes, required psychological evaluation and mental health evaluation, longer waiting periods for guns purchased, all provide a responsible framework to gun ownership.
Lets REQUIRE our legislature to create a comprehensive and RESPONSIBLE path to gun ownership that requires a bit more from responsible gun owners and offers a lot more in terms of safety to all!
