The best way to raise revenues and reduce unemployment is by giving tax credits to businesses that hire locally, while levying additional taxation on businesses that manufacture products overseas. Tax all imported products, even if these products are manufactured by an U.S. corporation (like Apple or HP) but overseas. Allow only 50% deduction for payments for any labor that was performed outside of the U.S..
Increase tax rate on incomes above $250k/yr, tax financial transactions and unearned income above $50k for people younger than 67 y.o., while giving additional tax credits to families who have children in college. Allow student loan deductions and rent deduction for people with incomes of 60k or below and DO NOT TOUCH ENTITLEMENTS
