Our country is fast becoming a one party non pluralistic society. With the right wing capturing 95% of the radio airwaves and with a 24/7 propaganda cable "news" channel, something must be done to restore balance to our dialogue. I would like to see a re-examination of the fairness doctrine and perhaps a modified form could be instated, requiring media conglomerates like Clear Channel to represent more than one side of political thought or at least ensure there is access to a variety of thought in every market.
