Dock congress' pay until they do what is right and compromise on the fiscal cliff.

The House of Representatives (HOR) has failed to arrive at any useful compromise to avert a situation they created with the fiscal cliff. This petition seeks to impose a pay freeze on the HOR until it arrives at a useful compromise. It will also seeks to impose real financial penalties to members of the same for every day that average U.S. citizens bear the brunt of the impact stemming from this neglect. Ideas for the penalties may range from a temporary reduction in salary or a permanent loss of income based on the severity of the crisis created, the member's salary and the proportion of constituents represented. Any contractual obligations to the member should be considered null and void due to a breach of trust against the people represented by the same.
