There needs to be an agency put in place to advocate for patient rights! There are no agencies to fight for the patient! Doctors can black ball a patient at any time; for any reason and there is no recourse! The Department Of Health says complaints aren't even looked at for 10 to 12 weeks! Mean while, patients are being refused prescriptions which they have been prescribed for years! The ER, will not send a referral to a specialist. The Primary Care Provider can refuse to see the patient and refuse to send a referral to a specialist!
