Doing our Part in the Migrant Crisis

My Petition is one about humanity and responsibility. I believe, since We have taken the responsibility to lead a coalition against groups of terrorists, that we should also take responsibility for some of the migrants displaced as consequence of the violence. I believe we should allow many to seek asylum and eventually call our country theirs. Immigration is a very heated topic in this country right now and may be for a while; But the crisis our allies are facing is great, and they should not bare the responsibility alone. Some may fear what migrants may bring with them, but we Shouldn't. We are Americans. We are hard working and tough. We have taken the lead on great wars and we have taken the lead on this one. All were heavy responsibilities and I believe we are capable of taking more
