Historically factual information regarding the South Korean comfort women issue have disregarded benby the people of Japan for decades. Over the past several years it has come to light that the true history of Japan’s War Crimes are rewritten to show Japan in a better light, completely fabricated or not even mentioned.
Although Japanese war crimes occurred in many Asian countries during the period of Japanese imperialism, primarily during the Second Sino-Japanese War and World War II. Frequently, war crimes were committed by military personnel from the Empire of Japan in the late 19th century, although most took place during the first part of the Shōwa Era, the name given to the reign of Emperor Hirohito.
