Reports are coming in from across the country of hate crimes, harassment, intimidation, vandalism, and school bullying acted out while invoking the name of President-Elect Donald Trump. These actions have targeted racial minorities, religious minorities, immigrants, refugees, women, and the LGBTQ community.
We are urging President-Elect Donald Trump to publically acknowledge and denounce these hate-based acts and crimes being committed against fellow citizens by extremists in our country who claim to support him and believe they are acting on his behalf.
We are also urging the President-Elect to speak directly to his supporters, calling on them to stand up against the hateful targeting and discrimination of their fellow American citizens based on their identities.
