Donald Trump Must Denounce Hate Crimes Taken In His Name

Created by D.O. on November 13, 2016

Is is widely recognized that the campaign undertaken by Donald Trump openly solicited the support of fringe beliefs of the United States, and capitalized on the emotion that they evoke. The results of the election have been taken as a validation of these beliefs, and as can be seen throughout social media and news outlets, a concerning increase in violent and hateful activity has taken place.

Under no circumstances have hate crimes or personal attacks been suddenly made acceptable behavior. We demand that these actions being taken, invoking the name of the new administration, constituting physical and/or emotional abuse, vandalism, and overt racism, sexism, and general bigotry, be immediately denounced publically by Mr Trump.
