USAID already supplies Uganda with $300-400M/yr in aid. Given Arizona's GDP of $250B, donating the state will represent ~ a thousand-fold increase in generosity. Or to put it another way, maintenance of current levels with no new fiscal impact for a 1000 years. The key justification (in line with current aid) is to help Uganda rid their country of HIV infections through an influx of ardent heterosexuals. Another benefit, besides an up-tic in Ugandans making it to heaven, will be reductions in gorilla poaching as Minutemen establish new roles in their adoptive country. We ask that various options be considered for effecting this transfer; besides wholesale movement of Arizonans to Uganda, a fence might be built on the other three sides of the state, protected with roving vigilante trannies.
