There are thousands of charitable organizations, the problem is that they are focused more on helping other countries than helping our own.
You can find poverty anywhere if you look for it. Why do these organizations focus on helping the poor, hungry, homeless, etc., in other countries before helping our fellow Americans?
I propose that these charities are re-examined, and donations from Americans go to Americans, in an effort to wipe out poverty in our own country first.
