The changes that have been discussed by the administration and the Dept of Defense are a train wreck waiting to materilize. Does anyone that was in the naval service in the 70's and 80's remember when ships could not get underway because they did not have enough sailor's to get the ship underway. Rewarding military service of 8-10 years with a vested benefit sounds good, but don't saddle those that elected to serve 20 plust years through thick and thin (often times thin) to receive a retirement at 20 years.
