Don't cut the United States' military defense budget. The United States must keep its military strength. We need a strong homeland defense and for our troops serving overseas to have the necessary supplies to do their job. Our military leaders and the Department of Defense already struggle with the current budget and a reduction in our military troops. Our men and women in uniform deserve our backing and adequate funds for up-to-date supplies and training. We should not and cannot wait for a disaster to arise for Congress to realize our lack of preparedness from the decreased budget. What is more important: cutting money from the budget that won’t reduce the deficit or the lives of the American servicemen and women that already sacrifice enough?
