President Obama has stated he supports gun control to help future massacres. At best, this "solution" will only cause less people to be killed the next time. We need to concentrate on PREVENTION of future massacres not only making them less tragic.
99.99+% of men are not mass shooters. However most of the 62 major mass shootings since 1982 were committed by men. While Obama supports gun control to solve this issue, he doesn't support addressing the issues and problems boys and men face in society. In 2009 he formed the Women & Girls council to address the issues women face but axed plans for a Men & Boys Council. Men are facing serious issues including increased dropout rates and increased suicides which most mass shootings really are. Stop ignoring boys. We need a Men & Boys Council now!
