Proposed new directions and restrictions by those who want the 2nd Amendment protected might erode our 1st Amendment rights. Video games are under threat despite being constitutional. Doctors can't counsel patients about gun safety in some states, even though that advice is as easy to ignore as advice to lose weight, exercise, quit smoking, or take tons of medicine.
We the people do not want our 1st Amendment rights to suffer from whatever action may be taken in light of the gun control debate. Do not restrict video games. Let doctors counsel patients on gun safety, knowing they're free to ignore that advice. Keep up the good work in the ACA prohibiting insurance discrimination based on gun ownership or non-ownership.
