There have been considerations to make some very large cuts to our military recently. Some of these cuts, including retiring the A-10 Warthog, reducing the size of the US Army, and continuously reducing nuclear weapons.
If these cuts are implemented, our military will be significantly weakened. Russia has the second strongest military in the world and they are not too far behind us. Then comes China, with the third strongest military and largest as far as troop size. The USA needs to maintain the worlds strongest military force to keep our people safe from future threats as tensions are rising.
