Don't pressure India to change its intellectual property laws for the benefit of the pharmaceutical industry's profits

Created by N.B. on September 26, 2013

The pharmaceutical lobby led by Pfizer is currently lobbying the US Government to pressure India to change its intellectual property laws, due to India's recent legislation which has "brought down the price of medicines for HIV, TB, and cancer by more than 90 percent", price changes which are only a benefit to humanity.

We, the people of the Unites States want low-cost pharmaceuticals available to everyone, as we are concerned for our fellow man, not the profits of our pharmaceutical industry. We ask you to not accept the pharmaceutical industry's lobbying efforts on this subject, and to not pressure India into changing their intellectual property laws.
