The agreement is rumored to contain agreements that could raise the price of some generic drugs in the U.S. by many thousands of dollars, and that's one tiny instance from many pages of text.
It has been drafted in relative secrecy, can only be seen by congress persons who visit a room to read it and purportedly grants multinational companies (MNCs) extensive control over public services such as healthcare and the internet.
