Whereas, the Constitution does not require any State to recognize marriage.
Whereas, the voters of 31 states have affirmed the belief that marriage is between one man & one woman.
Whereas, the Supreme Court does not have the power nor the resources to enforce its decisions, and such decisions, if they are to be enforced, must be enforced by the executive.
Whereas, there is no constitutional obligation for an executive to enforce a SCOTUS ruling.
Whereas, the funds to enforce such a decision would come directly from the very people who oppose it in the majority.
Be it resolved by the undersigned, that no taxes shall be paid to the federal government in the event that it chooses to enforce a Supreme Court ruling which would undermine the will of the people in 31 states, & subvert democracy.
