double the NASA budget for transportation vehicles to move goods and persons to and from the International Space Station

With the near abandonment of the programs to move persons and material to and from the International Space Station, it is imperative that the United States take the lead in this transportation effort. To that end, it is proposed that the NASA budget be doubled to fulfil the mission of developing and deploying vehicles to service the International Space Station.
