Double NASA'S Budget

Created by R.B. on September 21, 2013

The budget of NASA is at an all time low. Since the end of the Cold War, NASA has been considered a special interest group. In the 1960s, when we were at war in Vietnam, people were dreaming about tomorrow. Every week there was an advance in technology. In the Between 1960 and 1972 we went to the moon and everyone wanted to innovate and become scientists, engineers, and technologists. In 1966 NASA's budget was around 5.5% of the national budget. Now it is .5%. There has been a lost generation of people who would have been scientists. If NASA is fully funded again, we will become the leaders of innovation and science in the world. I ask president Obama to double NASA's budget to create new jobs and an innovative force so children will want to be the scientists and engineers of tomorrow.
