Dr. Shakeel Afridi needs to be named a hero of the United States.

I was wounded in combat and gave the use of my left leg for my country in Iraq. As a citizen I felt it was my responsibility to help protect our great nation from Al Qaeda. Dr Shakil Afridi risked his life for a country that was not his own.He was instrumental in offering intelligence in regards to the whereabouts of Bin Laden. His sacrifice must not be left to headlines and cable news discussions. Please Mr President give this man what he deserves and name him a hero of the people of the United States of America. Let us not forget ever what he has done for our nation. My deepest regards, Sgt Frank Garren
