If those who would send this country into war feel so strongly that war is the best course of action then they should have the courage of their conviction to place themselves on the front lines in an active ground combat role from the day combat operations begin until such time that the war has officially ended, or they are killed. Additionally they shall enlist with and permanently retain the rank of Private -- regardless of prior service history, receive no monetary compensation, be afforded no special privileges or preferential treatment because of their position in office. No consideration should be given for age, gender, or physical fitness. Refusal to report for and complete all related duties shall result in an automatic conviction for the crime of treason against The USA.
