Draft and propose a multinational UN treaty granting personhood to the Earth as a living organism, granting it rights.

Bolivia has drafted what is called the "Mother Earth Law." It guarantees certain rights to the Earth as a living organism. By doing this, our legal system would be able to interpret the law in specific cases. It would be prudent to make public mention of the idea, in order to garnish a healthy debate about such a revolutionary law being applied within our own legal system and therefore, our national borders. This would create appropriate political pressure.The aforementioned law includes certain enumerated rights, including the right to maintain the integrity of life systems, diversity of life, restoration of life systems, and equilibrium of natural systems, as well as the preservation of these, clean water, clean air, and freedom from contaminants, including toxic and radioactive waste.
