Draft and submit to Congress a Constitutional Amendment removing the restriction of candidates for the Office of Pres.

Created by S.S. on January 20, 2013

Draft and submit to Congress a Constitutional Amendment removing the restriction of candidates for the Office of President of the United States to “native born” Americans, per Article 2, Section I, Clause 5 of the United States Constitution.

Passage and ratification of such an amendment would open the doors for any number of Americans – “native born” and naturalized – to seek the highest office. It would remove the ability of members of the US Armed Forces to claim orders from the President were unlawful because of that President’s supposed non-citizenship (an impediment to necessary discipline).

It is time to stop such divisive nonsense. Isn’t it about time that the United States opens the highest office in the land to ALL of it’s citizens??
