Create a bill that exempts disabled military veterans, rated 30% or higher by the Department of Veterans Affairs, from having to pay the Federal Income Tax.
In addition, exempting all active duty military veterans, making $65,000 per year or less, from paying Federal Income Tax for the cumulative total of their active duty years of service, after discharge.
Example: Joe Smith served 8 years in the US Marine Corps. Upon discharge, Joe Smith will be exempt from paying Federal Income tax for 8 years after discharge.
