Despite an impressive first episode, AMC's "The Killing" swiftly descended to astonishing levels of cliche, implausibility, and nonsense. When the lake of red herrings finally ran dry with the revelation that two people randomly murdered Rosie Larsen for different reasons without knowing it, the show was quietly canceled, liberating the talented cast and finally ending our long national nightmare.
Recent news, however, suggests AMC has greenlit a third season of "The Killing," for reasons unimaginable and no doubt sinister. Thus, we, the taxpayers, respectfully petition for an Executive Order to prevent all parties from resuming work on "The Killing." Furthermore, economic sanctions should be set in place against Canada so long as they willfully allow production to continue on their soil.
