Dramatically Increase American Intervention in Syria to Reduce Civilian Causalities in the Syrian Civil War.

Chemical weapons have been used in Syria. It is time we dramatically increased our intervention.
We are the United States of America. We stand by our word.
Mr. President, the people of this country understand that international relations are complicated, but when you said last August that if Bashar Assad used chemical weapons it would "change the political calculus," the world listened.
That day has come. It is time we demonstrated a change in the political calculus.
It is time we demonstrated to the people of the world that the United States does not just intervene when a disruption to global trade is at stake.
We also intervene when human rights atrocities are committed.
Let us stop being reactive. Let us do all we can to mitigate this conflict. Let us save a generation.
