dramatically increase funding for NASA and the Space Program

Created by O.D. on September 29, 2013

John F. Kennedy was the first and last President to truly encourage Americans, if not all of mankind, to explore space and the planets beyond our own. Spaceflight, it has been said, is the doorway to peace and health. However, NASA funding is at an all-time low, from 14% of the total U.S. budget in the 1950's during the Apollo program, to less than half of one percent today. Clearly, the President and the government do not see the benefits space travel can provide, or, failing even that, all of the indispensable inventions the rest of NASA has provided for us, which have made our lives safer and more comfortable. So, I urge you to sign this, so as to take the millions of dollars being poured into the military's brutality, and into NASA, which will bring us into the future.
