There is no better way to directly and dramatically improve human welfare than by allowing anyone who wants to move to America do so as easily as possible. In addition to directly improving the lives of immigrants, increased immigration would also result in (1) a larger US economy, (2) greater demand for goods and service, (3) greater demand for housing, and (4) the exchange of more ideas between more people.
In short, greater immigration means greater prosperity.
