We urge that president Obama consider that revenue is not a problem in our current budget situation (no new taxes!!). We need to dramatically reduce the size of the government if we ever are to attain prosperity again.
It must be recognized that government is intrinsically parasitic. Government revenue is money that is taken from others and could otherwise be spent in the private sector for the purposes of job creation and investment.
We recognize that government should have no obligation to care for us, and government welfare is much less efficient than charity in the first place. (~30% vs ~70% according to capitalism institute).
We want to return to a small and limited government as designed by the constitution so that we can live our lives as we please in peace and prosperity.
