Drastically cut expenditures and funding for the military.

We petition the Obama administration to cut military spending which is already increasing our national debt, wasting resources, and causing widespread casualties worldwide. The US military comprises 40% of all global military spending. Our military is 6 times bigger than the Chinese military. For every tax dollar that we give to the US government, 50% of it is spent on the military industrial complex that president Eisenhower warned against and directly opposed. We are destroying the lives of our military personnel and soldiers. I'm not requesting that we drastically slash funding, but at least cut the rate of spending overtime so the next generation won't be overburdened with debt. We should divert our taxes to more important things like healthcare or a tax break for the poor.
