DREAM ACT: support students w/good moral character, who excel in academics 2 get higher education, despite legal status

Created by K.L. on September 29, 2011

We must invest in our people to prepare the future leaders & innovators of America who will drive us forward. Grant conditional permanent residency to certain illegal alien-students of good moral character who graduate from US high schools & who arrived in the US as minors. Provide a path to citizenship through college or military service.

Stop penalizing illegal students with out of state tuition rates: Roughly 10 states which offer tuition aid to illegal immigrants generally saw increased college revenue.

One recent UCLA study estimates that between $1.4 trillion & $3.6 trillion in taxable income would be generated over 40 years based on estimates ranging between 825,000 and 2.1 million potential DREAM Act beneficiaries successfully obtaining resident status through the legislation
