As a student in believe the current dress codes in most public schools are catered to the needs of boys, for example how girls cannot wear tank tops or shorts because they are distracting to boys. I believe that students should be allowed to wear whatever they want to school if a boy wants to wear a dress or skirt he should be allowed to or if a girl wants to wear shorts because it's hot outside she should be allowed to also.
