This petition is in favor for drilling at the Bakken formation in Montana and North Dakota.. It is scientifically estimated that 4.0 billion barrels of oil are recoverable in Montana and 3.0 billion barrels recoverable in North Dakota. Total barrels recoverable were at high estimates of 25 billion barrels. This would be more than enough oil to help pay off our national debt and lower our national gas prices dramatically.
