Drilling for oil in the United States will cut off oil trade and lower the future costs of fuel, as well as create jobs.

There is a great reason why we should drill for oil in the United States. It will create jobs and we won't need to pay large amounts of money to foreign countries to use their oil. We need to do something for ourselves for a "CHANGE". Sure prices may rise at first, but in the long run, the oil will be cheaper and it will be the people of the United States of America that truly pay for our own oil. China, Iraq, Iran, Pakistan, Vietnam and Indonesia are also too involved with America's production of goods for our people. Businesses are the only ones making money from other countries. America used to be founded, solid; we didn't need a crutch. Now we've fallen on others to do what we find too low for us to do. We don't need them, we need them to need us, the United States of America.
