We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

Drop all charges against documentarian Diea Scholsberg for filming oil pipeline protest.

Created by C.M. on October 17, 2016

These charges violate our First Amendment rights and serve the purpose of intimidating others from exercising their First Amendment protections. Deia Schlosberg, the producer of the upcoming documentary “How to Let Go of the World and Love All Things Climate Can’t Change,” was detained while filming a protest against TransCanada’s Keystone Pipeline in Walhalla, North Dakota. Activists at the event, associated with the group Climate Direct Action, shut down the pipeline, which carries oil from Canadian tar sands to the U.S, for about seven hours. She faces charges that could sentence her to be incarcerated for 45 years.
