We would like to petition President Obama to consider ceasing the criminal prosecution of Mr. Doug Hughes, whom on April 15th, 2015, landed his Gyro-copter on the Capital Mall in an act of peaceful protest. The political matters addressed in Mr. Hughes letters to Congress are truly significant, and we the people of the United States of America would like to thank him for his act of civil disobedience. We sincerely hope that this occasion can be made into a springboard for serious discussion about the dire state of our nations political structure, and not degenerate into a pointless media frenzy.
