The United States Navy is pursuing criminal charges against LCDR Timothy White for discharging a firearm on federal property because he decided to fight back. To charge LCDR White for doing what was necessary is insulting. President Obama, Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus and a myriad of other elected and appointed officials owe this man and his family the right to continue his honorable service by dropping the charges against him.
