Stop Florida cops from racial profiling!
A couple days ago, 14 year old Tremaine McMillian was arrested. What were his crimes? He "appeared threatening" by shooting Miami-Dade police officers "dehumanizing stares." So the logical response is to slam him into the ground, force him into a chokehold--during which he urinates himself--injuring the 6 week old puppy he was bottle-feeding, and charging him with a felony count of resisting arrest with violence and disorderly conduct.
Miami-Dade detective Alvaro Zabaleta believes that this is okay, because Tremaine tried to pull away from the officers' abuse. He claims that a 14 year old flailing his arms and clenching his fists is a threat to multiple grown, trained men.
