Drop Congress's pay checks to minimum wage until they can reach a compromise. Use their checks towards the deficit.

We the people of the United States are petitioning the Government to drop all the pay checks paid to the Congressional offices to minimum wage until a compromise can be reached and take effect to solve our deficit. We want to see the checks go towards paying off our deficit. We the people believe that if our government can not sustain itself then we can not continue to pay our Congressman at the wages they have voted themselves to be paid. We also believe that if they had to live on the wages of the people who they represent that they may begin to understand what the people who they represent go through everyday, which hopefully will push them to act and stop the Gridlock that is hurting us as a Nation.
