Drop federal student loan rates to 1% and increase the annual student loan deduction from its current $2500.

Created by N.D. on February 06, 2013

As the outstanding student loan debt hits 1 trillion dollars we need a better alternative. New graduates are putting off big life decisions such as starting families and buying houses because of large monthly student debt responsibilities. If you want to help aid the economic recovery we need to address the crushing effects of student loan debt on the economy and society. Options could be allowing greater than $2500 in annual student loan tax deductions or lowering all Sallie Mae loans to 1%.
