Merriam-Webster defines the word "INSURANCE" as: A contract that, by redistributing risk among a large number of people, reduces losses from accidents incurred by an individual. In return for a specified payment (premium), the insurer undertakes to pay the insured or his beneficiary a specified amount of money in the event that the insured suffers loss through the occurrence of an event covered by the insurance contract (policy). Unfortunately in the State of Florida and seemingly in many other states the goal is to make the process as difficult as possible so those applying for it will get so frustrated w/the process that they give up. Therefore the word "insurance" should not even apply any longer. Word should be changed to "Benefits Not Guaranteed".
