In most states at the age of 18 you are no longer considered a minor, but an adult. at age 18 you can buy tobacco, enlist in the military, and vote; but not buy an alcoholic beverage. There is potential for a citizen to enlist, be deployed, and die before they ever even had the chance to buy a drink. This does not make sense. This needs to be changed.
