I'm starting a petition against Norte Dame's 'Fighting Irish' name. It infers that all Irish are street thug/gang members. Also by being a Catholic school, Notre Dame says Irish only have 1 religious belief which we all know is far from the truth. I have descendants from Ireland & I'm neither a fighter nor Catholic. The name is embarrassing to my heritage & it must be changed.
