With the current military imbalance and political postures, Israel and Palestine are not likely to engage in substantive talks to end their differences. Israel's aggressive and disproportionate military actions, together with continued settlements and an aggressive blockade continues to suppress Palestinians, who now have few avenues to vent their very serious frustrations.
